Left Hand Brewing Turns Fifteen
Longmont Brewery throws all-day community-wide celebration

(LONGMONT, CO) – On Sunday, September 21st, Left Hand Brewing Company turns fifteen! That’s right, fifteen years old to the day to be exact. Back on that fateful September day, former Air Force Academy grads Eric Wallace and Dick Doore signed documents that would incorporate Indian Peaks Brewing Company, otherwise known to the outside world as Left Hand Brewing Company. And we would not be here without your support over the past decade and a half, so we’re throwing a celebration that lasts all day, and your presence is officially required!

We’ll have live music, brewery games, great local food, and, of course, great beer! Not to mention five great local non-profits that will benefit from beer sales that day. What, drink beer for a great cause? Come on, what’s better than that? Oh, and bring cash for the day – we won’t be accepting any plastic!

Below is a quick run-down on the day – we hope to see you here!

High Noon
The Tricor Braun Beer Marathon
• Don’t be afraid – it’s not 26.2 miles, but 26.2 oz of beer!
• Roughly a 5K.
• $10 entry fee gets you a race T-shirt, 26.2 oz of beer, and a light breakfast after the ‘race’
• Limited to the first 100 people
• If you’re interested in signing up, please email michal@lefthandbrewing.com to register!

1:00 PM
• The gates officially open!
• We’ll have a variety of games that day, from Baggo to Horseshoes to Sumo Wrestling (want to wrestle Eric Wallace (Left Hand President) or Roger Lange (Longmont Mayor) or other local celebrities? Now’s your chance)

Also, for you out-of-towners that want a place to stay? Well, we’ve shored that up for you as well – a discounted rate at the local SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn or Courtyard puts you about 2 miles away from the brewery. And they’ve even given you discounted rates for the weekend – just visit www.marriott.com/vbori and use LHBLHBA as your booking code to get the discounted rate. Sure, you could always stay somewhere else, but why would you? You won’t find better hotel options in all of Longmont. Not to mention that we will be running a FREE shuttle between those three hotels and the brewery that day.
